sometimes privately in
Our Mother of Grace Chapel (the Abbot's Chapel) in the Monastery.
9:00 AM. The Holy
Sacrifice of the Mass.
After Mass Rosary,
the Sub Tuum Presidium and prayer to St. Michael.
10:30 AM. Midmorning
Prayer with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
12:30 PM. Midday
Prayer and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
1:30 PM. Lunch.
Followed by Midafternoon Prayer privately in the Monastery.
6:30 PM. Evening
Prayer followed by the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Night Prayer.
7:10 PM. Recreation
and Collation.
9:15 PM. Monks
retire.
Tuesday – Saturday
5:15 AM. Rising.
6:20 AM. Exposition
of the Blessed Sacrament with Office of Readings and Morning Prayer.
8:00 AM. The Holy
Sacrifice of the Mass. Followed by a brief time of thanksgiving, followed by
the Rosary, Sub Tuum Presidiumandprayer
to St. Michael, as requested by our Holy Father. Our daily novena and Midmorning Prayer are
then prayed.
1:15 PM. Dinner or
Lunch, concluding with Midday and Midafternoon Prayer privately in the
Monastery.
6:00 PM. Evening
Prayer followed by the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Night Prayer.
6:40 PM. Recreation
and Collation.
9:15 PM. Monks
retire.
Monday is often
our Desert Day, it may however be transferred to another day in the same
week. If no desert day is listed then the
schedule is the same for all days.
On a Desert day Rising
is on one's own, the morning Offices are on one's own as well.
12:30 PM. The Holy
Sacrifice of the Mass followed by thanksgiving, the Rosary, Novena and Midday
Prayer.
1:30 PM. Dinner or
Lunch, concluding with Midafternoon Prayer privately in the Monastery.
6:00 PM. Evening
Prayer followed by the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Night Prayer.
7:10 PM.Recreation and Collation.
9:15 PM. Monks
retire.
Respectful silence
is kept after retiring until the conclusion of Morning Prayer. During the Mid Day meal there are readings at the table except for
Sunday and Feast Days. On Saturday Midday Prayer is usually dispensed.
